We are passionate about supporting the communities and environment in which we work. We aim to be recognised as a corporate social investment (CSI) leader in the provision of asset management services and solutions. We strongly believe in doing what is right for our clients and wider society.
We conduct our business in line with commitments contained in our CSI policy in relation to five key areas:
- business ethics
- ethical procurement
- community investment
- human rights
- sustainability and stakeholder relations
As part of this commitment, we provide 10% of our annual profits in support of charities and not-for-profit organisations which support the communities where we work.
Some examples of these are highlighted in:
We are also dedicated to supporting and influencing the Asset Management community, and so have donated a substantial amount of our time to the Institute of Asset Management (IAM) through presenting at conferences, writing articles for publications, and having senior roles on the IAM Board, Council, and NxtGen Committee.
We also donate a considerable amount of time to the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO), with eAM President, Rhys Davies being the Chairman of the ISO Committee for Asset Management (ISO/TC251), and director, Thom Kemp and consultant, Claire Hanson both having places on the UK Mirror Committee for ISO 55000, working to improve and develop the ISO 55000 Standard.
